Next to the Sárkány Wellness and Medicinal Spa, the Strand Bath — rich in tradition and now upgraded to European standards — has opened its doors following a complete renovation.

At the beach area, guests can enjoy sunshine, swimming, and sliding in a pleasant outdoor environment. The new changing facility has a capacity of 1,000 people. To serve our guests, three snack bars and a full kitchen are available.

This pool is currently being renewed and will soon offer even more experiences to our guests! As part of the renovation, the former pool will be divided into two sections: one smaller and one larger, each filled with thermal water at different temperatures to welcome those seeking rest and rejuvenation. The new pools will operate with a modern recirculation system while maintaining the beneficial properties of thermal water — ensuring the highest hygiene standards and quality experience.

The renovated pool is expected to open in August 2025.

On one side, tall, leafy trees provide pleasant shade, making it comfortable even during the hottest days. The pool features built-in seating areas, offering undisturbed relaxation whether you're alone, with family, or among friends.

Adventure pool with 2 giant slides

One of the most popular attractions of the Sárkány Wellness and Spa beach area is the unique adventure pool with a recirculation system, offering unforgettable fun for all ages with exciting water features, bubbling jets, and neck showers. Two large slides lead into the pool, providing a thrilling experience for adventure-seeking guests. One section of the pool features 3-meter-deep water for those who love jumping in, while the slide landing pool has a depth of 120 cm. For safety reasons, the slides can only be used by guests whose shoulder height reaches at least 120 cm. Come and discover this special pool and enjoy carefree water fun with us!

This pool is an absolute favorite among the little ones and one of the most popular choices for parents as well. Its shallow water depth makes it especially safe for young children, allowing everyone to enjoy splashing around with peace of mind. Kids particularly love the cheerful, snake-shaped slide — it’s not too fast, so they can use it with confidence and ease.

Around the pool, numerous seating areas are available for parents, allowing them to comfortably watch their children from an appropriate distance. Large, elegant sun sails provide shade from the sun, ensuring that the pool remains safe and pleasant to use even on the hottest days.

25 m swimming pool

Swimming enthusiasts are welcome all year round: during the colder months, they can enjoy their passion in our indoor swimming pool, while in summer they can swim under the open sky. Our 25-meter, 5-lane outdoor competition pool has a unique feature — its water depth is 140 cm, making it a safe and inviting choice even for less confident swimmers, as the ability to touch the bottom offers an added sense of security.

In every season, we ensure at least 2 lanes are available for guests who wish to swim for sport or training. Of course, the pool is also open to hobby swimmers and those simply looking to enjoy a refreshing dip.

This specially designed path, made of natural pebbles and built-in massage elements, gently stimulates the reflex points of the feet, improving circulation and strengthening the muscles around the ankles.
